Kavita of Chattisgarh claimedd gold in the aero squad Individual category of the 11th Sub-Junior National  SQAY Martial Arts Championship was at St. Teresa Convent School in Sector 25 here.

 The second place went to Trisha of Delhi.

Hayika Hazir of Jammu and Kashmir emerged winner in the sub-junior girls under-35 kg secton. Ishita of Delhi captured silver.

The Delhi squad comprising  Udit,  Shivangi and Pratiyush outpoined their rivals to bag the aeros sqay mix title. 

Amitabh Chandel was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. As many as 22 states participated in the Sub-Junior Nationals. St Teresa Convent School Principal Amit Chopra also and distributed medals.

According to Haryana Squay Association general secretary Harish Kumar, a four-member Indian team will participate in International SQAY championship at USA.

Sub-Junior (girls)   U-35 kg:   1  Hayika Hazir (J&K), 2 Ishita  (Delhi),  3 Vadher (Gujrat) and Rachana (Chattisgarh ). U-39  kg:   1  Megha (Delhi), Samridhi, 2  Lami Rani (UP), 3 Pooja Kumari (Rajasthan).

Sub-Junior (boys): U-29 kg: 1  Rishab (Delhi), 2 Bhanu Pratap (HR), 3   Vaidant  (Chattishgarh) and Atinder Pal (Chandigarh). U-37 kg: 1  T. Vanket (Chattisgarh), 2  Piyush (Delhi), 3  Samrit (Chattisgarh) and Vaibhav(Bihar).   Open: 1 Tushar (Delhi),  2 Sohit (Chattishgarh), 3 Prikshit (HR) and Jatin (AP).

Aeros Sqay Mix: 1  Udit,Shivangi,Pratiyush  (Delhi) , 2  Mayank ,Kavita,Sanskriti (Chhatisgarh), 3  Shivani, Mukul , Sahil (HR).

Aero squay (Individual girls): 1 Kavita (Chhatisgarh ), 2 Trisha (Delhi), 3  Akshara (Maharastra), Riya Raj ( UP).
