Job Description
The Drug & Alcohol Coordinator reports to the Manager, Drug & Alcohol Program and is part of Envoy’s People Services team. In this role, the Drug & Alcohol Coordinator maintains confidential drug and alcohol program records in order to meet DOT and FAA requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Review and correct daily drug/alcohol test result reports
Provide Pre-employment clearances to Talent Services and field managers
Complete requests from other companies for drug/alcohol records on former employees
Verify/add testing records in the Drug & Alcohol system
Audit test record forms
Prepare follow-up items with regard to affidavits and certificates of corrections to collection vendor
Review/verify invoices and prepare for Manager's approval
Perform a variety of audits and prepare reports for internal monthly audits
Interact with HROS, clinic staff, field managers, supervisors and outside vendors
Job Requirements
Minimum Age: 18
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Effectively use Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Possess the legal right to work in the United States
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
The Coordinator must demonstrate highly effective organizational abilities and possess good time-management skills in order to handle competing priorities. The ability to maintain complete confidentiality and diplomacy in all communications is critical in this position. A positive and optimistic outlook with a strong work ethic is necessary.
College degree and/or courses in Business Administration, Human Resources or other relevant areas
Certifications in Compliance or Drug and Alcohol Programs desired
Working knowledge of DARMA and SAP is preferred
Previous experience with Drug/Alcohol programs, Compliance, or Human Resources experience is a plus
Working experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information
At least one (1) year of previous clerical/administrative office experience strongly preferred
