Job Description

The Drug & Alcohol Coordinator reports to the Manager, Drug & Alcohol Program and is part of Envoy’s People Services team. In this role, the Drug & Alcohol Coordinator maintains confidential drug and alcohol program records in order to meet DOT and FAA requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

  • Review and correct daily drug/alcohol test result reports

  • Provide Pre-employment clearances to Talent Services and field managers

  • Complete requests from other companies for drug/alcohol records on former employees

  • Verify/add testing records in the Drug & Alcohol system

  • Audit test record forms

  • Prepare follow-up items with regard to affidavits and certificates of corrections to collection vendor

  • Review/verify invoices and prepare for Manager's approval

  • Perform a variety of audits and prepare reports for internal monthly audits

  • Interact with HROS, clinic staff, field managers, supervisors and outside vendors


Job Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Effectively use Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States

  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language

  • The Coordinator must demonstrate highly effective organizational abilities and possess good time-management skills in order to handle competing priorities. The ability to maintain complete confidentiality and diplomacy in all communications is critical in this position. A positive and optimistic outlook with a strong work ethic is necessary.

  • Position Preferences

  • College degree and/or courses in Business Administration, Human Resources or other relevant areas

  • Certifications in Compliance or Drug and Alcohol Programs desired

  • Working knowledge of DARMA and SAP is preferred

  • Previous experience with Drug/Alcohol programs, Compliance, or Human Resources experience is a plus

  • Working experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information

  • At least one (1) year of previous clerical/administrative office experience strongly preferred
